Stripe’s Australia and New Zealand team wanted 55 crew necks or caps for Stripe’s Singapore office, delivered in early October. When they first got in touch, the design was still being worked on.
| Client | Stripe, Australia and New Zealand team |
|---|---|
| What we made | 55 caps with an embroidered design |
| Timeline | 14 days from payment to delivery |
| Delivered to | Stripe’s Singapore office, on the Monday they asked for |
The brief
Stripe settled on caps, then asked whether we could embroider them instead of printing. With the design not final yet, the timeline also had to work around artwork that was still changing.
What we did
- Explained real versus faux embroidery. Real embroidery stitches thread into the cap for a raised, textured finish. Faux embroidery prints the look of it for less. For their design, we recommended the real thing, and Stripe went with it.
- Set deadlines around a design that was still changing. We gave Stripe a date for the final design and a date for payment, so the caps could still land on the Monday they wanted once the artwork was signed off.
How it went
The caps reached Stripe’s Singapore office on Monday 5 October, the day they asked for.
