Emerging Travel wanted handheld fans and power banks for two of its brands, Emerging Travel and RateHawk, delivered to their hotel in Singapore no earlier than 18 October.

The brief
The team needed 20 fans and 20 power banks for each brand, all in black. The order kept moving as they worked it out: the quantities changed four times, luggage tags came off the list to stay on budget, and after they asked about MagSafe, we swapped the power bank for a magnetic wireless one.
What we did
We sent mock-ups for both brands on 7 October. The next day we made two rounds of changes, putting RateHawk’s logo in two colours on its fans and keeping the power banks to the logo only, since their print area is small. Both power bank designs were approved that day, and the order went ahead.
Mid-production, we found the RateHawk sticker might not hold on the power bank’s silicone surface, and offered other spots for it. The team kept the original spot, with the logo in plain white.
How it went
We delivered both brands’ sets to the team’s hotel, no earlier than 18 October, as they’d asked.
